How to Rebuild Universities?

If i wanted to preserve institutions of higher learning, like univers i would argue they're not doing a particularly good job. The original intent behind tenure was that work could proceed that did not need consensus. Almost anyone that can make tenure to day has already been selected for what like, four sigma in conferring conformity. They're never going t tenure for anything interesting.
