Is There a Link Between Perfume and Attraction?
Iam not a great believer in the notion of perfume as an attractant. I think, in fact, many perfumes are excellent repellente. A smell has no intent, but fume has an intent. And that intent is not necessarily seduction. There's an element of simply trying to do something beautiful. Now, whether if you wear something beautiful, people will be attracted to it or not is another question. It's really more mediated by art and cultural context and people's taste. We get a story from frak an profession brand, and we translate that into fragrances. This story could be erotic, this cor story could be something completely different.
