The Eucharist and the Theological Virtues
The sacrament contains jesus christ himself, who came into the world to give grace. The sacrament is a representation of the passion, and so it brings the fruits of the passion to those who receive it. So it's not surprising that the sacrament increases grace in the soul. But what i v found more fascinating in saint thomas's treatment on the eucharist is how he sees this sacrament promoting in us the theological virtues.
