Be Monks, Don't Be Priests
Bishop: I've known a lot of benedict s over the ears who do staff parishes and function as parish priests. Sometimes there's a real need, and an abbey can serve that. But i don't like is when some benedictins say they didn't really know what it meant to be a priest until doing parish work. Be monks with all that that means, i said, and i think you 'll evangelized even more effectively.
