I went into a supermarket yesterday that hadn't been into for a while because it used to be my local supermarket and then I moved. It just made me realise there was so much visual emphasis on prices on the shelves now. There were so many big stickers of things telling you what the price is. You can actually feel the cost of living in crisis and the supermarket way of handling it through your eyeballs and the shelves. Big supermarkets, the legacy ones, really know that the aldies and the littles and the discounters have seen their market share increase year on year.
