The History of the iMac

The original iMac was not a flat screen computer like later models would turn into. It was an all in one computer that looked like a very colorful CRT monitor. The team chose a polycarbonate shell for the computer because it's resilient and can hold tinted color really effectively. I feel like the IMac was sort of an early example of that aesthetic that extends all the way down to today.
