The Importance of Continuity in Film

A lot of the way that we shot this movie was not to say experimenting, but trying things, and then making adjustments. We did that on this film. Multiple times. It's actually a useful tool. I have a science background, strangely. My first job was working as a science presenter when I was a kid. And I believe that a thing that a lot of films get wrong in terms of how they're made is actually taking the scientific method and applying it to art.
