The Sleep Cycle
As the night goes on, you get less deep sleep and a lot more dreaming. There's roughly five dreams per night that increase in length over the night. Each sleep cycle about an hour and a half, light, deep dream. That explains the melting clocks. Absolutely, exactly. And all that spoon-based stuff as well. A lot of spines, yeah.
