I was working at National Geographic years ago on this extremely bad documentary about Alexander Schulligan and it just these executives at National Geographic totally ruined it. They were trying to film these reenactments of Schulligan synthesizing masculine but they couldn't show the chemistry so why not just actually show the chemistry? It will look beautiful and it will be the exact thing that you're trying to illustrate visually, Hamilton says.
