Sleep Insomnia - What Causes It?

One in three adults at some point every year have trouble sleeping, and about one in ten adults on a regular, long term basis. The range of normal when comes to sleep is actually quite large,. Just because you have a few nights where you don't sleep particularly well does not constitute insomnia. It doesn't constitute an ailment. It is part of normal life. But there are both psychological and physical factors that can be influenced by daytime stress, sleep deprivation, or even poor sleep hygiene. We often see individuals who clearly have had a problem with a sleep disorder for many years that has gone unrecognized.
