The Importance of Competitors in SEO
Using competitors as the basis for your SEO strategy makes a huge assumption that your competitors have an SEO strategy. When I was at server monkey, we competed against Qualtrics. And he's a server monkey, he still can be against Qualtric. So again, the same conversations with prospective clients where they say, well, my competitors doing this and I want to do this too. What I thought was like a brilliant strategy. Wasn't even something they noticed was a complete accident.
