How to Deal With a Child Who Pushes Back

The ODD diagnosis carries with a terrible stigma for children in the education system. Many of them have had trauma histories and can have these big stress behaviors. It's an incompatible ask their body says no even though their mind might want to say yes. And our culture doesn't have language for stress response yet. All we have language for is misbehaving behaving good behavior or bad behavior.
