When you have deflation, which means prices are coming down, that's all it is. So how do we calculate real interest rates? Well, we take the nominal interest rate and subtract inflation. In a world of deflation, the real interest rate is 4 1,5%. That's hot. But now there's another problem, a significant scarier. And this is a central banker's worst nightmare.
