One perreviewed experiment paper is not going to overturn a whole field, argues naomi areskis. The replication crisis really started this famous e s p experiment tat darrell bem did about backward causality. Two other scientists tried to replicate it, and they couldn't. So the peerreview system isn't going to guarantee reliable knowledge. You'd have to have like, multiple replications.
