Bitcoin's 21 Million Cap Is Never Going to Be Changed
If BlackRock tries to fork Bitcoin and fails, I think it's going to be a wake up call for a lot of people like, oh shit, the 21 million cap is never going to be changed. And there'll be billions of people that the light bulb comes on at that moment. Some of them might even get wrecked in the fucking fork. But that would be really bullish, ironically. If you're using your own node, your node will not recognize the fork because the whole point of your node is it enforces the rules that you've agreed to. So if you do not update your own nodes, it will never recognize a fork.
