You Don't Want to Be an Investor, but You Want to Do It
My dad was for decades a software entrepreneur in France. He basically built a software company just completely bootstrapped and through services of a time when you think about it. And he would leave very early and come back very late and spend many, many hours during the weekend just in his office working. I could see the stress of it on the daily basis. And I just didn't look fun at all. So he was very passionate and ended up doing pretty amazing things... But as a family member, I got to see the sheer level of effort that's involved in it.
