What Does a Spiritually Mature Christian Look Like?
A maturity is being all you were meant to be at this stage, he says. The basic skills are needed to move on to a more expansive way of relating to God the way we would relate to others. And it turns out the people with a big trauma load did not do that and so when they tried to connect with God, they did not make a connection with anybody. John makes it pretty clear, if you can't love your brother, how are you going to love a God you can't see?
