Solemn: The fact that it follows logically from the civil rights vision has largely precluded any me, any apparent need for empirical verification. Political activity thus becomes crucial, with political here being broadly defined to include courts and administrative agencies as well as legislatures and private institutional activity as well as government policy. Thisi this is how black liberation theology defines salvation. This is how critical race theory defines equity. In other words, i'm oppressed simply because i say i'm oppressed. That's why black lis matters.
