NAMM's and ACOG released new data on menopause. Hormone therapy should be considered the first line in menopausal women who are aged younger than 60, within 10 years of their final menstrual period. Some traditional contraindications to hormone therapy include estrogen sensitive cancers or inherited high risk of thromboembolic disease.
