Our intelligence is its own specific, I like the word, idiosyncratic, manifestation of all of the cellular proclivities. And we also abstract things more. But here's the other disturbing thing. Plants are highly intelligent. They are not just because they don't move and just because we don't communicate with them in the ways that we consider to be communication. If we really understood forests, you'd realize that what you're seeing above ground is trivial compared to what's going on underneath. The connections that bring them together into the complexities that are well beyond human city.
