Tutankhamun - A Cache or a Tomb?
This character treasure hasn't been found before, but Carter's first thoughts were, could this be a cache or a tomb? A ruin cache is a place where priests would hide and stack away all the mummies, statues, treasures, everything. For them to enter this room it was magnificent because one thing sold all the treasures and they were basically cluttered everywhere. Two of the most striking objects from the tomb of Tutankhamun are so-called and rather misnamed guardian statues,. said to be exactly life-size based on examination of the body of the king in height.
