I Think There's a Place Where Pastoral Prayer Can Begin

In communities where songs about judgment or prayers for the advent of divine justice in the world are not part of the diet, i think there needs to be a fair amount of teaching and also modelling. I mean, if we are ultimately imprecating against every enemy that threatens the integrity of the temple kingdom of god on earth, then that means we have to start with ourselves. So i think there's a pastoral way to begin introducing this, even apart from the psalms,. But i also think o the psalm can be deployed in the liturgy in a variety of places.
