She says Tolkien was saying to Lewis that maybe myths don't have value because they seem like shabby relics of an earlier time. But there is a real value deep inside them and there is nobility to them, she says. Jones: In this case, cast your own small golden scepter down; it's not the authority of a sub-creator but he's not going to set it down.
