The Benefits of a Free Mastodon Instance

Twitter co-founders Evan Williams and Biz Stone, co-founded medium. They're saying you get a free Mastodon server. If you already pay for medium, there's nothing that you lose by at least seeing what's going on in the conversation on Mastodons. It might not be the place for you, but it seems like a pretty cool perk because you're not paying more to have that access. The whole free thing is like, I mean, great, free. But it also means no one's really beholden to me to change.
