Climate Change - What Are the Key Pledges in the Paris Pact?
There's clearly a lot of uncertainty about the details on some of the coal pledges. But i nevertheless think the they're very significant. The transparency rules will make it easier to see where countries are living up to their promises. In terms of two different countries both counting the same emission streductions, that's pretty much been ruled out. They have agreed to carry forward emissions ar credits from the pre twent t 20 periods.
