The meal with god is the climax, a motief found throughout scripture. In some of the sacrifices do have the priests participating by eating in part of the sacrifice. But that's kind of the point. What i'm talking about here is something a little bit bigger. It's not as though they all have to be anthropomorphically. Most of them not going to be in that territory. The sense of family, community gathered around a meal in god's house,. and therefore, by extension, with the lord.
