The Liftoff Have Failed

I don't subscribe to the fact that the liftoff have failed. They just kept going. I think it was that psychological thing that our comrades and our brothers and our countrymen are starving down there. It wasn't just the loss of a battle. The way in which those men were just going to starve to death had a massive psychological effect on the air crews. And so I think they were flying in conditions that otherwise, perhaps they wouldn't have done and they just kept going."
