What Does It Matter Today?
Photographers make so many very personal artistic decisions yeah and not only at the moment but even with the extensive editing stage there are a lot of personal investment. A portrait is a drawing or an or a painting is essentially imperfect in a lot of ways and imperfect in quotes because it's not objective reality of what you see. The way people participate with that drawing invites participation from the viewer as they fill in those gaps that exist of information. In my understanding imperfect or incomplete information invites the imagination to step in and then we engage a little more deeply with these things.
