Email used to be a lot more decentralized than it is today. Today you can run a Noster Relay very easily just like you used to be able to run an email server and anybody can connect to it. Unfortunately, bots and spammers can do the same thing. I think that we're going to see a world where users migrate to relays that are better managing spam. But if we leave it just to relay operators to implement their own mechanisms,. unfortunately, that's going to potentially be a centralizing force in the Noster ecosystem because some will be better at it than others.
