The Driver's License to Marriage License Hiatus

The average age of first marriage for an American man today is 32. So if you were raised in the church and you dropped out like most young people do around 18, what's that? 14 years? It's half your lifetime. And so what they're finding now is because people are getting married much later and having children even later than that, fewer of those people ever bother coming back to the church. If we really want to do a better job of engaging a younger generation and keeping them involved in the church, then rather than only supplying resources for people who are married with kids, we also need to be supplying resources for all of us in our vocations.
