The book examines six older industrial central cities in the us Northeast and midwest, baltimore, cleveland, detroit, philadelphia, pittsburg and saint louis. Mac: In any micro economics approach, we focus on individual choice. And these six cities will be more likely to flourish if more people and more private sector jobs locate within the boundaries of these cities.
