The Wild World of Sounding Rockets

Last week we talked about balloon base astronomy. This week we're going to talk about putting telescopes on kets and making observations mid flight. These sounding rockets are giant model rockets for all intents and purposes. They go at a lower vel city than your standard orbital rocket, which means you're not going to be quite as shaky or violent of a take off.
