How Far Away Are We From AIs?

Bianca: How far away are we from auto completes that actually have their fingers into all of the relevant systems to be able to extract meaningful information for us? I think it's reasonably far off, especially for the sort of reasons of grounding and connection with real world things. It would probably be, if you showed that to somebody from the 60s, right, when those Star Trek movies were made, they would probably be amazed that that thing could even exist,. Would I trust it to like, you know, steer my rocket ship around in space? Yeah, that would be a different question, right?
