The Basics of Solar Cells
We want the electrons to get excited very quickly and stay excited for as long as possible before relaxing back down. It's called the excited state in the ground state, so there's a maximum opportunisty to harvest their energy. But understanding is that the harvesting of the energy at this time is not the limiting factor in turning just everything into solar panels. Actually, it's hard to store solar energy. And i worked very little on that part of solar cells. I basically built organic molecules that could absorb the sun in a son's energy, and gave them to someone else to work on turning theto solar cells.
