The Doors of Perception
I was the main investigative reporter for an inquiry that the Crimson did on the whole thing. The state of Massachusetts was launching a criminal investigation against them. Harvard didn't want them on the faculty. So it was already out when you got involved in the mail. Have you ever... Did you ever meet Aldous Huxley? No, but I corresponded with him. I got a letter from him shortly before he died. And he died on the same day that Kennedy was assassinated. That's right. But reading his book The Doors of Perception had a major influence on me. It was one of the things that awoke my interest in experimenting with psilocybin and other psychedelics.
