The Art School System in the Netherlands
There is a sense here that art is something that is a gift or a talent, and you're simply supposed to be right. Like this idea of iteratively figuring out how to be better is not very common understanding around being an artist. I don't think if that's still the case in the Netherlands. The Dutch way is thinking like, this is an artist, there's talent there, it will come out naturally.
