Cadence for a line of description is really where your voice comes from as a screenwriter. Hemingway very classically had this very simple sort of style um there's most of the screenwriters on the blacklist that make the blacklist every year have a pretty visceral sense of their voice so if you pick three scripts from the blacklist and you look at their first couple lines on their first page you're gonna probably see slight differences in cadence, he says. "There's so much subjectivity in the business so you just have to know how to getting back to that feedback system"
