The Future of Telescopes on the Moon

The lunar regolith is a very rich source of all the elements you might need to, for example, build an electronics. So everything is in place and it is envisaged over the next decade or two will be mainly effectively locally on the Moon. One could do more as anything one wants with local materials. With such a huge diameter, you'd get incredible resolution. And once you get that sort of resolution, you can imagine looking at nearby planets. To me, that's one of the most exciting goals.
