The FBI and the DOJ Have Been Heavily Involved in Shaping the Events of the Proud Boys Trials
Five members of the Proud Boys have been charged with seditious conspiracy and other felony and misdemeanor counts for January 6. Only one man is accused of vandalizing the building and using a riot shield to do so. The others do not face violent charges, such as assaulting police officers or bringing firearms. But they've started to become the poster boys for the so-called militia groups that attack the Capitol on January 6,. trying to overthrow the government.
