The Oil Gas Industry's Interest in Hydrogen
The oil gas industry is trying to justify the continued use of their pipeline systems. The current pipeline systems aren't meant to handle hydrogen, he says. Robert does see use for hydrogen in our future energy mix but he says it'll be much smaller than many people are advocating. He thinks its role will be limited to things like making steel and using hydrogen to power planes may have a bright future.
