The Importance of a Good Footnote
The most important thing I realized was the very fact that it was really hard to do this analysis was itself an incredibly important thing. You know people like me have done a lot with computers computing mathematical kinds of things, but the vast majority of what computers are used for is things thatreally have nothing to do with the sort of mathematical computation side of them. That's something that came out of something where you might have said well that's sort of a footnote, or we can't analyze this let's not write about that we can't analyze it. But it turned out that sort of little footnote was the thing which was in a sense the main event. The significance is kind of the implication
