Get in v s code has built in command line that you can use to t type in and do all your get commands in the command line, if you so choose. I've never done this personally because i don't like the integrated command line into v s code for some reason. A lot of these things work hand in hand with exactly when and how you're writing your code. The tools really stuck for me most of the time. It's like i would download them and install them in he blababla.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk all about how they use Git inside of VS Code, extensions they use, and the various ways to interact with Git in VS Code.
