Modern Society Has Its Ups and Downs

Modernism has its ups and downs over the years. It hasn't been perfect. But it's also come along with protection of civil rights and racial and gender equality. The world wide web, which is we can all agree is the best thing ever. No downside. And modernism is really basically what sociologists think is why fundamentalism still exist is a response to modernization.
