How Do Antecedents Affect My Motivation?

Timeliness. Am i on time for this flight or not? Do i have time to stand in this line or not? Rude behaviours of other people can be a present antecedent that makes my life difficult as far as self regulation in line. My motivation for social approval went out the window recently during a flight, because it was a perfect storm. I was sleep deprived, i was in a reasonable amount of pain because i had just sat in traffic behind the wheel. And that i was stressed because we were late. So my motivation to get on that aerplane was really, really high.
