Is There Such a Thing as a Free Market?

A recurring theme in your book is some sort of idea that there's no such thing as a free market for those who would like these things to be completely organic. There are real advocates of statelessness out there especially in my world but very very few people from Milton Friedman to Friedrich Hayek to even Ludwig von Mises were actual anarchists. I tend to think that especially figures like Hayek were traumatized by communism and Nazism so they had a kind of paranoid overreaction to the state.
