The Real Economy Versus the Service Economy

In my book, I call it the real economy versus the service economy. The more you're in the real economy, the more you're dealing directly with non-human nature. And so part of your hypothesis in some sense is even though there is a disconnect between the real economy and the service economy that grows with time as more and more people are in the serviceEconomy. If the service economy doesn't bear the mark of the relationship with the underlying natural order, it's going to become unsustainable and counterproductive.
