The Onion King

In 1955, Vincent Kastuga and his business partner Sam Siegel bought up all the available futures contracts for onions. To control the market, if they control it, they can run the price up for the onions. So he starts to drive the price up as he dwindles the supply. They end up controlling about 98% of the onions in the Chicago market - which represents most of the United States agricultural products.
