The Desire to Be the One and Only
Vivian: I think as you're sharing your thoughts and findings, the thing about being special, this desire, this attachment, this need to be like the one and only. My dad's also in the equation, at least for the James thing, but it was only when my mom said it that I was triggered. So maybe it is just this desire of wanting to be her one and only shining beacon of storm. Vivian: There's a reason why Charlie is so special to me, right? Like it comes from like my own personal past experience with feeling love.
