Is Santa Claus a Fiction?

I find it disturbing that we lie to kids so happily about santa claus. It's definite, to me, an odd social contract we've made. One of the first times i ever really reflected on honesty was when i was in high school and a good friend of mine's mother had a stroke. And from that point on, she said whatever came into her head. I think maybe i was better off before i read yot. But good luck. Ha, ha, ha.
