The Importance of Reliability in Software

SREs are able to communicate with people who don't necessarily understand and a lot of times even care about what reliability you can stand for in software. It's kind of like what feature developers had to deal with 15 years ago when they were considered a cost center and now look at how important it is. So that's why for me one other thing that what SRE does, what it brings to the table it improves cultural and organizational resilience.
